RKC, Rajkot Lifts U-17 Soccer Trophy
In a thrilling final played at The Lawrence School, Sanawar between BPS, Pilani and RKC Rajkot, the boys of RKC, Rajkot lifted the coveted trophy in the final of the All India IPSC Soccer Boys U-17 Tournament 2019 by registering a convincing win of 3-0 over their counterparts. The tournament was jointly hosted by The Lawrence School, Sanawar and Pinegrove School, Dharampur.. The ‘Player of the Final Match' was given to Sneh Salet of RKC, Rajkot. Swaraj Suresh Garade of BK Birla Pune was adjudged as the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament. Shripal Ram of RKC Rajkot bagged the Best Defender award, the Best Mid Fielder was awarded to Latikesh Gumbade of Paravara School, Maharashtra. Sneh Salet of RKC, Rajkot scored nine goals and was adjudged the Highest Scorer of the Tournament. Saksham Ahlawat of Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun won the Best Player of the Tournament award. The second Runners-up Trophy was awarded to Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun, the first Runners-up Trophy to BPS Pilani while RKC Rajkot became the proud winners of the All India IPSC Soccer Boys Under-17 2019 Trophy.
