Vidya Sagar Chauhan : The one who rose from rags to riches
( words)
A paperboy turned millionaire - a solitary tail that may enthrall your heart eternally. Each millionaire has their own “rags to riches “ story, but this one goes a bit offbeat as the main character of this anecdote started it all when he was incredibly young. His diligent work didn’t take long to turn him into a massively successful business mogul. This memoir belongs to Vidya Sagar Chauhan, A boy who lost his father earlier than the others, responsibilities knocked on his door when he himself was fledging, without giving a second thought he dropped his school after 10th standard, and with an empathetic notion, he geared up to support his family. A family of three people his mother, sister and he himself lived in small-town Dharampur in district Solan. All his father left for them was a small tea stall, as the sun raised he too would wake up and saunter around the whole town to circulate newspapers, his day was spent making tea for people at the tea stall, and his day ended by making paper bags from the left out newspapers, going to school was luxury after passing his metric that he could hardly afford .
The little he earned was not enough for this visionary, his aspirations and inbuilt desire to be successful consistently proceeded him towards the massive success that he has today. He initiated to amplify his business by establishing a small paper bag manufacturing plant and there and then he decided to never look back. At present he is the owner and founder of Sagar FireWorks, the only industry in Himachal Pradesh to produce Novelties firecrackers. From paper bags to fireworks this man suffered numerous ebbs and flows to prevail. He’s not only recognized for the enormous business empire that he constructed but for the revolution that he brought into the Indian fireworks industry. He had an idea to wean away the Indian Fireworks industry from its heavy dependence on Chinese imports and strengthen its self-reliance. He says that” if we have the ability to make it ourselves, then why to bet bottom dollar on someone else “. With this speculation in his mind, he took a stride forward, and instead of importing the necessities required to produce firecrackers from China, he preferred to extract the technology behind it and applied this technology in his manufacturing plant, in order to be a step ahead.
It is incredibly fascinating when you become acquainted with the fact that a person who started his business with four employees and that too his family members now owns three manufacturing plants one at Dilmand Sirmaur and others at Parwanoo and has 200 employees working under his assistance, that is how entrepreneurs escalate their business empires. His colossal business empire didn’t just appear through the air he has suffered through an enormous tough grind to accomplish his dreams and Mr. Vidya Sagar Chauhan epitomizes this fact to the best, that a university degree doesn’t always equate to success. He further aims to wean out the import of Chinese toys in India and dreams of establishing a toy industry as well. This ingenious personality strongly believes that you will never fail in a real sense if you always have a second option and after your failure, you must always be ready for Renaissance.
Mr. Vidya Sagar Chauhan is also involved in bountiful philanthropic acts but the best on his list acclaims his dedication to empowering women in the best possible ways, he has generated employment for numerous women in the remote areas of Himachal Pradesh. At one of his manufacturing plants, Dilmand he gifts 5000 rupees to every girl child who takes birth in the Dilmand panchayat and donates the same amount for every girl married right there. Another altruistic noble deed from his philanthropic treasure inspires a humongous amount of people, this courteous human being has adopted a whole Government school and takes care of its need to the fullest. A person who was a bit unfortunate to complete his own schooling endeavors to educate many children with all the facilities that they deserve, so “A paperboy enlightening masses “ would be a better appellation for this anecdote.
