Dalai Lama greets Tibetans on Losar, Central Tibetan Administration celebrates Tibetan Losar

Dharamshala: On the First Day of Tibetan Losar (Tibetan New Year), Central Tibetan Administration’s Sikyong Penpa Tsering, Kalons, Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering, Parliamentarians and staff along with the monks of Namgyal Monastery gathered at Tsuglagkhang to celebrate the Tsetor, a ceremony that was practised since second Dalai Lama. The ritual observance began with a prayer service followed by an offering of the mandala to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s throne from the heads of CTA’s three pillars.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama also greeted Tibetans on 2149th Tibetan New Year (Losar) from his residence in Dharamshala.
