The owner of a tailoring shop in Keran near Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district was arrested on Sunday after 15 hand grenades were recovered from his shop.

The man, identified as Parvez Khawaja.

As per the information received, a local resident, identified as Abdul Hamid Bajad, had died in the explosion, sunday morning. After an explosion was heard in the area, a joint team of police and the Indian Army reached the spot and arrested the tailoring shop owner and rcovered 15 hand grenades from his shop.
