(IPSC Soccer Tourney)

RKC, Rajkot and BPS, Pilani will clash in the final of the All India IPSC Soccer Boys U-17 Tournament 2019 being jointly hosted by The Lawrence School, Sanawar and Pinegrove School, Dharampur. The first semi final briskly paced match between BPS, Pilani and BK Birla Pune was a stunner and resulted in BPS winning by 2-0. The match commenced on a cautious but aggressive note with each side not willing to give any chance whatsoever to their opponents. The BK Birla boys did have their moments but could not capitalize on the chances that came their way. Ankit of the winning side got the ‘Player of the Match’.  In the second semifinal played between RKC, Rajkot and Welham Boys’ School Dehradun, the lads of RKC also triumphed by a margin of 2-0. The Rajkot lads made inroads in the territory of their opponents from the very beginning of the match thereby leaving them clueless. Two chances came their way and they capitalized on both leaving the Welham boys heart broken. The Welham boys on their part tried their level best to make a comeback but were denied any opportunity by Rajkot lads.  Jay Patel of the winning team was awarded the ‘Player of the Match’.
