Counselling for self-financed UG seats held at UHF Nauni
The first counselling for self-financed seats in Undergraduate programmes of Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), Nauni was held on Thursday at the university campus. Students from all over the country including Himachal, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and North-eastern states appeared for the counselling.Over 350 students from all over the country who have secured 74 percent and above in the class 12 examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Maths appeared for seeking admission to B Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B Sc (Hons) Forestry and B Tech Biotechnology programmes run by the University at its four Constituent Colleges. The counselling was held at the Dr LS Negi Auditorium of the university where the committee verified all the documents of the students along with taking their preference of course and college. The seat allotment list will be put up on the university website on July 12 after 5 pm.Every year thousands of students from all over the country apply to seek admission in the horticulture, forestry and biotechnology programmes of the university. While the seats in the self-financed scheme are open to applicants from other states, the normal seats are reserved for students from Himachal Pradesh.
