Pinegrove Celebrates Annual Day
Exhorting all the students, in general, to do even better and touch greater heights in life, Vice President of HP Red Cross society, Dr Sadhna Thakur presided over the Annual Function of Pinegrove School, Subathu, District Solan HP. She was awarded a rousing welcome at School and she also inaugurated the ‘Sangam Setu’ bridge made for the expansion of the school’s facilities across the river. One hundred fifty smartly attired students trooped the School Flag at an impressive Parade and the Chief Guest inspected the cadets and took the salute. On this occasion, thirty nine students displayed their gymnastic skills, forty students children were part of the Brass Band and provided a grand rhythm to the marching young feet. The Students marched to the tune of Vijay Bharat, Swagatam, Sare Jahan Se Accha and Hum Honge Kaamyab, played by the School Brass Band. Indian Music, Western music, and Cultural program presented by the students enthralled the audience. The performance of students being amazing was highly appreciated by the gathering. The parents also had the opportunity to witness the creative skills of their wards at an Art, Craft and Photography exhibition which displayed the work done by the children, through the year Fifty one students participated in the mesmerizing fusion dance in the field. The play ‘Subah: Ek nai Shurwat’ revolving around the life of veteran dancer Sudha Chandran, was conducted to instill the spirit of hope, willpower and perseverance in the face of adversity. The school Annual Report was read out highlighting the achievements of the current year. The celebrations ended with a vibrant fusion dance which left the audience spellbound. Addressing the gathering the Chief Guest, Dr Sadhna Thakur minced no words in appreciating the untiring efforts put in by the School management to raise the standard of the school to this level and commended the school on providing such facilities to the students.
