No shortage of oxygen in Delhi says Satyendra Jain
The Delhi health minister, Satyendar Jain, has said that there is no shortage of oxygen in Delhi for treatment of COVID-19 patients but some suppliers have been told that they will supply first in Rajasthan. He said this problem is being resolved by negotiation. The supply of oxygen to Delhi comes from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that at present there is no problem of oxygen in Delhi. Delhi government hospitals have a stock of 6 to 7 days of oxygen.
On monday the Health Minister said, there are around 1,000 ICU beds available inDelhi , and 30 percent of the COVID-19 patients admitted to delhi hospitals are from other states.
